Personal Notes: The Mark II debuted October 6th, 1955 at the Paris Auto Show. The car was produced almost by hand, in a factory constructed just for the Continental Division of Ford. Unfortunately, Ford became a publicly-held company and after two years of production, the Mark II was discontinued.

Exterior: Gorgeous ORIGINAL Ivory color. Beautiful chrome trim. Wide whitewall tires. Engine: V-8 Overhead valve 368-cu.in.. Compression 10:0:1., 300 HP, hand-balanced.
Interior: Almost perfect three-tone Blue, with two-tone leather seats, padded dash and full carpeted floors.
Transmission: Automatic
Historical Notes: The Mark II was produced as 1956 and 1957 models. Construction cost was almost double the retail price of $9,695. At the time, a Rolls Royce could be purchased for less! 1957 production was 444, plus 2 convertibles (specially built for top management). Approximately 22% were air conditioned.
